ABOUT
INHERITANCE
LODGE

Greetings from Chad and Wendy Lyon

We purchased this lodge and the land in 2020 and as proud owners of Inheritance Lodge, we have heard several stories from our guests about how relaxing and refreshing it was to get away from technology, and spend quality time with family and friends. Guests of all ages have found activities to keep them entertained. Between the trails, the lakes, and the local attractions there is something for everyone.

Thank you for considering Inheritance Lodge, and if you do decide to visit, we know you will love this place as much as we do!

The Rules
1. Please park your vehicles in front of the lodge.
2. Smoking is not allowed inside the property. Should you choose to smoke outside, please do not throw cigarette butts on ground. Forest Fires can start easily in dry conditions.

3. Do not leave children unsupervised on the property.

4. The property is marked with orange markers, please do not cross onto others’ property.

5. We are not responsible for any lost belongings. Please let us know if you misplace something so we can look out for the item.

6. We encourage guests to wear bright colors when out on the property as a safety precaution during hunting season. (Extras are hanging in the laundry room- Please return when finished)

7. Bonfires. There is a bonfire pit located on the property. This can be used when there is no burn ban and it needs to be put out with water after every use. This property is located in the forest surrounded by county forest so we need to be careful.

8.The cabin is located in the forest surrounded by forest so we have animals. It is not uncommon to see deer, porcupine, turkeys, bobcats, coyote and black bear on this property. Please do not keep food outside and keep the shed door and lodge doors shut. We do not want any surprise visitors.

9. No pets are allowed. We do not want the mess in the lodge and we do not want anything to happen to them on the property.

10. Please feel free to use the equipment in the shed at your own risk. We have paddle boards, kayaks, snow shoes, ice skates and many outdoor games. There are also life jackets located in the shed. Coon Fork (which is next door) is the perfect place for fishing, kayaking or just hanging at the beach. We just ask that the equipment is cleaned off and returned where you found it.

11. Pond. We have a pond on the property. We do not believe there are fish in it. We hope to work on this next year. We would like to stock it and clean it up for kayaks. Right now we enjoy watching the wood ducks and other animals use it. The pond is 20 feet deep in areas so please treat it with respect.

12. Please treat our property with respect. We have put a lot of effort into making this into a space our guests can enjoy.

13. HAVE FUN! We hope you make the most out of our home, its amenities, and the opportunity to relax and explore the area.
